Principal Artists

Opera Memphis is always willing to hear singers at its headquarters in Memphis.

Singers interested in auditioning for Opera Memphis' 2011-2012 season should our site in the fall of 2010. Opera Memphis anticipates that auditions will be held in New York in late fall 2010.

If you are a managed singer, please have your agent recommend you for a specific role (or roles) via e-mail or snail mail to Jonathan Ealy, Artistic Administrator, Opera Memphis 6745 Wolf River Parkway, Memphis, TN 38120. To reduce paper, we prefer e-mails directing us to a website where we can review your picture and bio.

If you are a manager, please make specific suggestions from your roster via e-mail. Please do not make suggestions for roles that are not listed above.

We will hear unmanaged singers who have the requisite experience. It is rare for singers without some regional opera company experience to be cast in roles of the sort we are auditioning for. (Please see Artist in Residence audition information.)
