Welcome to the online home of Opera Memphis.  As we continue our 2011-2012 season, there is one word that keeps coming up--"passion".  Tosca, Norina, Adele, all of the characters in this year's operas are driven by passion.  Sometimes it is misplaced, or absurd, or wicked, but it is always felt with the sort of intensity that only opera provides.
