Rent the Facility for Your Event
The Clark Opera Memphis Center (COMC) is available for use by individuals and for-profit and non-profit organizations. The Clark Opera Memphis Center is an administrative, educational, rehearsal, and performance facility for Opera Memphis. Opera Memphis (OM) reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse use of any of its facilities to any prospective User, for any reason.
The Clark Opera Memphis Center is not available for political events, fundraisers, gambling-related events, social sorority or fraternity sponsored events or proms, or events where the primary purpose is marketing or commercial. The facilities are not available on Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day.
Event Hall & Lobby: Saturday - $3,400; Friday - $2,500; Monday--Thursday - $2,000; Sunday - $1,500 (Access to room Monday-Saturday from 9am - midnight; access to room Sunday from 2pm - midnight.)
Lobby Only: $500 (only available Monday-Friday after 5pm)
The rental price for the 5,400 square foot hall and 1,450 square foot lobby includes 300 chairs, 35 (60") round tables; 4 eight-foot tables; 4 six-foot tables; 40 (30") bistro tables; basic overhead lighting; window coverage; catering kitchen (including refrigerator, microwave, freezer and double sink); parking lot; lobby bar; fountain; exterior lighting; a Clark Opera Memphis Center staff member on duty the day of the event; security for up to 5 hours; and set up and tear down of the tables and chairs.
Opera Memphis has three preferred caterers, Heart & Soul Catering, Just Catering and Off the Square Catering. If the client does not use one of these caterers, there is a $200 charge. All catering services MUST be provided by a caterer approved in advance by OM. All caterers must carry proof of insurance, applicable health certificates and maintain a health department rating of eighty (80) or above.
All other rentals (linens, furniture, etc) must be rented from Classic Party Rentals.
The client may bring in own beverages including alcohol. No alcohol sales may take place at the facility.
Daytime Corporate Meeting - Event Hall: Monday--Friday - $500 up to 3 hours. Each additional hour is $100. Eight hour day (9am-5pm) = $1,000.
