Così fan tutte

March 28 & April 4 | 7:30PM
Mainstage - Playhouse on the Square
Rated PG-13

It's Mozart's comedic opera about foolish men and women testing the bounds of love! Guglielmo and Ferrando (the young guys of the show) are so confident in the faithfulness and fidelity of their fiancées (Fiordiligi and Dorabella), that when Don Alfonso (a very astute, cunning, and fiendish kinda fella) calls them out and wagers that even their women would give into the temptation of other men, Guglielmo and Ferrando arrogantly take the bet. There are goofy disguises, steamy seductions, and ridiculously silly antics. Though this is a comedy, it's definitely geared towards mature audiences, and we don't recommend you bring the kids to this one. Don't worry though! We have other activities that the little ones will love! CLICK HERE for our family friendly event.

In addition to the main opera performance, MOF20 features multiple Fringe Events to give variety and depth to your experience with opera and Mozart. This year's events range from "Adults Only" to "Kid Friendly," and from the unfamiliar and unknown to the classic and iconic. Some events are free while others require tickets. 1. Mozart After Dark

Saturday, March 28 | 10:00PM
Festival Lounge - Playhouse on the Square
FREE event | 21+

Mozart was a raunchy fella - so raunchy in fact that many of his pieces CAN'T be performed or played without offending a great many audience members. This Midtown Opera Festival we are celebrating the Master's dark side with "Mozart After Dark." The dirtiest of Mozart's diddies will be performed in the Festival Lounge so you can sip those adult libations while laughing your a** off at his colorful lyrics. Because of the adult content, this event is for adults 21 AND OLDER ONLY. It is FREE to attend, but bring your I.D. because we will be carding.

2. Mozart: Lost & Found

Friday, April 3 | 7:30PM
Mainstage - Playhouse on the Square
Tickets $10

Mozart’s Eine kleine nachtmusik - one of the most recognizable and beloved masterworks in the symphonic repertoire - is paired with lesser-known Mozart arias you likely have never heard before. Hear the cast of Così fan tutte and Bastien & Bastienne perform these operatic gems with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra.

3. Bastien & Bastienne

Friday, April 3 | 9:00PM
