Opera Education is
programming meant for kids from pre-K through high school! Sometimes our education programs take place in schools or hospitals, and sometimes the kids come to us. In either case, our goal is to meet kids where they are, building familiarity with opera and the performing arts. Here are some examples of our education programs:

We take these programs to hundreds of local schools, hospitals, and community organizations, and we reach more than 17,000 children and teens per year. We'd love to visit you next!

Opera Outreach IS
when we "turn the opera house inside out" and bring the performance to you! We sing in restaurants, on street corners, at festivals - anywhere! Lots of people think of opera as a stuffy thing in foreign languages that only rich people like. Outreach is our way of breaking down that misconception!
Want us to sing at your place or event? Our Community Outreach Team has experience providing customized, high-quality programs for organizations ranging from businesses and social clubs to churches and hospitals. In fact, every September, we help deliver a full month of free programs all over Memphis: 30 Days of Opera!
