About the concert & Symposium
This September, Rhodes College and Opera Memphis partner together to bring Opera & Race: Celebrating the Past, Building the Future - a concert and symposium examining the role of race both on and off stage. Thursday night will consist of a concert produced by Opera Memphis, and Friday hosts a series of speakers and lecturers including Naomi André, Givonna Joseph, and Anh Le. This event is free and open to the public.
