Meet Emily and Geoff!
As the Co-Chairs of Camerata, Emily Strack and Geoff Maddox are passionate about sharing their love of opera and cultivating the next generation of opera goers. They have organized a slate of events for Camerata members to experience opera in unique and fun ways.
Emily is a shareholder with Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC. When not practicing corporate law, this Memphis native loves enjoying all that her city has to offer. Emily attended her first Opera Memphis performance as a high school student, and has been hooked ever since. Now serving as a trustee of Opera Memphis and co-chair of Camerata, she is devoted to advancing opera in Memphis.
Geoff attended his first opera while studying at the University of Missouri and then became involved with the Young Friends of Opera Theatre when completing his Ph.D. at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He currently conducts research on human learning, memory, and the aging process as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Rhodes College and is excited to continue his advocacy for opera as a co-chair of Camerata.
